Fretted instruments being built today are better than ever. These instruments are being crafted with impeccable construction, closer tolerances, thinner tops, beautiful woods and outstanding craftsmanship. However, we have heard repeatedly from musicians, repair technicians and vintage collectors how these fine instruments are easily susceptible to damage.

At Ameritage, we believe in preserving instruments for generations, so we created a professional carrying case consistent with your fretted instrument’s craftsmanship – a case that protects your instrument from climatic effects which can cause swelling, splits, cracks, checking, movement in glue joints and distortion of woods. Within every standard Ameritage case is our exclusive, patented Humidity Control System™. This system allows you to create and maintain a stable environment within your case to combat excessive temperature and humidity variations – causing the vast majority of costly guitar repairs today.

Our hard-shell is constructed of strong, breathable wood crafted using a cross ply manufacturing technique - the preferred choice of repair technicians – covered in a weather and abrasion resistant Dupont® Cordura Plus material. The finest quality brass drawbolt latches secure the case.

Inside is a luxurious, plush velour covered suspension system for ultimate protection against damage; with body and neck nesting support, hygrometer, thermometer, Humidity Control System™, plus an ample accessory compartment.

In our pursuit to listen to what the musician wants in a carrying case, we recently launched the most innovative musical instrument carrying case in the market today. The Ameritage Nouveau® case. The Nouveau® case is a completely unique, new style of lightweight instrument case for band instruments using a patented technology process developed by Ameritage^®.

The new construction process combines the protective qualities professional musicians seek from traditional wooden cases, with the popular, lighter weight aspect today’s molded cases and gig bags offer. With this new case design, musicians will no longer need to compromise.

The “Nouveau® Weight-Less Case” line by Ameritage will surprise musicians, because these cases appear to be heavy duty and substantial – like traditional Ameritage cases. Yet, when you pick them up, the weight is significantly reduced. Ameritage has maintained those components they feel to be essential in quality case design. Exterior sides are constructed of strong, cross-ply hardwood veneer, which allows the case to breath, and features Ameritage’s traditional valance closure, heavy duty brass latching hardware, plus a new, palm-formed padded handle.

Unlike original Ameritage cases, the top and bottom are contour manufactured using a unique reaction injection molding system. This multi-density, lightweight system maximizes shock absorption and features an incredibly strong, protective shell which is covered in soft foam and finished in highly abrasion resistant, UV protected, 1000 denier DuPont Cordura® Plus fabric. We have introduced this band instrument line using the popular original Ameritage^® taupe and burgundy color combinations.

Inside the case, a three-part construction process creates a tailored, gentle compression-fit shock absorption system to securely nest the instrument for ultimate protection. Luxurious soft velour fabric, which protects the instrument from abrasions and scratches, is fused to the sub-layer.

The result of Ameritage’s Nouveau® case technology is a superior, innovative, lightweight case that offers the musician the best combination of durability, instrument protection and carrying comfort. In addition, musicians will appreciate the convenient, cushioned backpack straps and extra exterior accessory pockets.
